Distance: 50 km View Route Map

Ride up the Ovens Valley to the old gold-mining town of Harrietville at the foot of Mount Hotham. Ride to the end of town and see what's in store for those who are brave (or is that foolish) enough to tackle the climb. Enjoy the historical displays, the trout and lavender farms, dip your toes in the Ovens River, and perhaps buy some treats on the way back to Bright.

This is a ride to brag about!. The road to Hotham Heights is the highest sealed road in Victoria. It's a long, hard climb with a challenging descent as you return to Harrietville. Don't forget to photograph your moment of glory at the top!
