Venture further along the rail trail to take in refreshments at the Butter Factory café Myrtleford. Stop at the Happy Valley Hotel (Ovens) and the Bright Berry farm for further sustenance on the way back.

Beechworth Bakery Beechworth
Distance: 120 km View Route Map
An undulating ride along the Ovens Valley, followed by a short (but steep) climb up the Buckland Gap road to the hill top town of Beechworth. With a rich goldmining heritage and Ned Kelly connections there are plenty of sightseeing opportunities here. Your refuelling point is the famous Beechworth Bakery. Once back to the Ovens Valley, you can always return to Bright on the relaxing and car-free Murray to the Mountains rail trail.
